Professional Project Review

Los Angeles Times
The professional project that I decided to review comes from the Los Angeles Times and is titled "HGTV's 'Flip or Flop' hosts separate after police incident". This article is about Tarek and Christina El Moussa and the announcement of their divorce. Tarek and Christina are the hosts of a home improvement show where they buy foreclosed houses, renovate them, and resell them for profit. Recently the couple has announced that they will be separating due to an "unfortunate misunderstanding".

My first impression of the project was that it was very short and vague. The article gave details that were not very relevant to the topic and made it slightly confusing for the reader. The title states "after a police incident" therefore I was hoping that they would elaborate on the 'incident' but, what I'm assuming is for privacy reasons, they kept the information very limited on that part of the topic.
I believe that the reader will not find what they are looking for based on the title of this article.

Based on the article the creator used a verity of quotes to give as much detail as they could about the topic and used professional language. The creator should reconsider the title because the article focused more on the family and their children other than the 'police incident'. I also think that the creator should have made the article longer and added some pictures or video clips to give it more detail to satisfy the reader's needs. Overall a poorly done project that needs a lot more detail in order to please the reader,
