This week the story I chose is from KCTV5. The story is about a new STEM project for girls is the KC Metro area. The reporter had very good voice projection and seemed excited about the topic. Everything that reporter said in her voiceovers gave the what and the soundbites she chose talked about the why and how. All of the shots were framed well and went with the information given in the voiceovers.
One thing the reporter could have done better is get more interviews. There were no interviews with the girls attending the event and that is something I would like to have seen. There was also no written story to go along with the video.
Overall the reporter did a very good job. I will work harder on getting more 'why' interviews instead of 'what' interviews. I also will do a better job of doing the interviews in an interesting location.
