ISTJ

On the Myer-Briggs personality test, my personality type is ISTJ. ISTJ stands for introverted, sensing, thinking, and judging. The ISTJ personality is very organized, thorough, and dependable. Commonly found in fields like: finance, engineering, and medicine. ISTJ's are typically leaders and are very orderly and like structure in their work. They keep their priorities straight and pays attention to facts and details. Some famous people who share my type are George Washington, Thomas Hobbs, Richard Nixon, and queen Elizabeth II.

I think that my personality type describes me pretty well. It is not spot on but it is close. I like organization but typically don't keep things organized. In certain situations I do like to lead and give out instruction rather than receive instruction. The description of the type does help me to better understand why I gravitate more towards certain things.

My personality type clarifies that I like to lead the group rather the follow someone else. I am very particular and if things don't go my way, I am not very happy. I think people have not gotten my best input sometimes because I am not the one making all of the decisions. When I am in charge, my best ideas are spoken because I don't have to be self conscious when voicing my opinion. For example my sister and I sometimes do not agree on things because we both want to be in charge.
